Baraka has been visiting the centre since he was five months old after being diagnosed with cerebal palsy.
Baraka first arrived at the centre on 24th November 2015 when he was five months old. He was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. His parents took him to see a witchdoctor before being put in contact with LVDC.
Baraka has been undergoing regular physiotherapy at the centre. His parents have been given training on cerebal palsy and simple exercises to help with his condition. He is currently learning to stand with the help of standing supports which were manufactured at LVDC workshop.
Baraka has made real improvements since attending the centre. He is now able to sit by himself for a short time. He is continuing to do physiotherapy both at home and at the centre.
